ING Financial Planning (IFP) thrives on innovation. The ING Financial Planning's Optimising Portfolio Service ("OPS") is a forward looking actively managed portfolio system, exclusively for INGFP clients managed by the in-house Investment Analysis Team.

OPS is designed for investors who seek expert help to actively manage their portfolios. Our investment team aims to maximize returns while minimizing volatility by selecting a set of funds from different fund management companies.

On a weekly basis, our investment team uses Momentum Analysis to identify the funds which they believe have the greatest potential for strong performance. Based on their analysis, they may recommend switching certain funds.

ING Financial Planning may recommend switching if:

• funds that have started trending higher have the potential to continue to rise faster than other funds (i.e. they are gaining momentum)
• stop-losses are broken or the momentum starts to decline
• the buying and selling of funds maximises the time spent in the up-trend and minimises the effects of the downtrend
